Garde & Eames - Bricks LP [Free Download]

Via sub|division:
Bricks is packed with gritty warehouse damage, seething 4/4 dance music built for 3am dancefloors. Garde & Eames have been working on this album for much of the second half of 2011, the result of some late night sessions with some analog toys. A few of these tunes popped up on their Futureproofing mix for Andrew Ryce a couple months back, most notably the unrelenting “Hardchop” & the astral groove of “Ghostjackin”. Now we finally have the whole batch to enjoy, plus a lush pdf of pics to accompany said heat...

Orbital - Never

Yes yes, the first fresh Orbital joint is out since reuniting after their breakup in 2004. Tunes like "Halcyon and On and On" were pretty much life changing the first time I heard them. This one isn't quite up to that level, but the lush melodies and simple video make for a pretty enjoyable experience. I'm excited to see what else surfaces over the next few months.

L-Vis 1990 - Neon Dreams

Really feeling the futuristic house vibes in this one. L-Vis 1990's 'Neon Dreams' is packed with minimal drum work, synth-driven melodies and lush pads. Check it out! The entire Neon Dreams album is available on iTunes now. Sorry about the lack of a decent audio clip; YouTube blocked the video and there's no SoundCloud bites.

SBTRKT - Pharaohs ft. Roses Gabor

Some poppier vibes from SBTRKT and Roses Gabor. Love all the masks. Check it out!

Guy Andrews - Your Notion

Some real future house vibes in this one. Checkout the drum work around 1:40. Guy Andrews is one to watch. The Your Notion EP is available on Discobelle Records.

Jamie xx - BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix

Quality selection from the one like Jamie xx. If you don't know, now you know!

L-Vis 1990 - Lost In Love

Here's some r&b-tinged house vibes from L-Vis 1990. The entire Neon Dreams album drops on PMR Records, 3 October.

MNDR - Cut Me Out (Kingdom Remix) [Free Download]

Here's a stripped down remix of MNDR's 'Cut Me Out' by Kingdom. Free download courtesy of Green Label Sound.

Kingdom - Take Me ft. Naomi Allen

Here's some forthcoming future r&b business from one of my favourite artists at the moment, Kingdom. I'm really feeling the summery smooth vocals from Naomi Allen (of Electrik Red) in this one. Available 26 July on Fool's Gold.

Kingdom - FADETOMIND

Kingdom is one of the biggest names in future house music right now. A pillar of the Night Slugs imprint (along with Bok Bok and Girl Unit), he recently founded his own label, Fade to Mind. Nguzunguzu's Timesup EP, which dropped last week, was the first release on the new label, and to celebrate, Kingdom presents the FADETOMIND mixset. Quality cuts all around - check it.

Girl Unit - Wut (Claude Vonstroke Remix) (Butt Naked Mix)

It took a couple listens for this track to grow on me, but I'm really enjoying the more stripped-down Claude Vonstroke 'Butt Naked' remix of Girl Unit's 'Wut'. Available now from the always fresh Night Slugs label.

Koreless - MTI

Absolutely love the 808 drums, proper sub bass, and chopped up vocal loops in this one. Just a really nice tune to listen to just about anytime. Available now on Pictures Music.

Monolithium - Simon & G-Funk (Eames Bootleg Refix) [Free Download]

Here's another free remix from the sub|div camp, a bootleg refix Eames did of Monolithium's 'Simon & G-funk'.
Via sub|division:

[Eames has] taken the soulful funk architecture of 'Simon & G-Funk' & welded it to the frame of a deep warehouse groover. The 707 gets a healthy working over here & things get sinister.

Eames - sub|div podcast 15.0

After having my mind blown by Andy C the other night, I returned home to find a new podcast from the sub|division crew. Eames has been holding it down with quality house music for more than awhile, and this is exactly what I needed at 4AM. Features some of Eames own production, as well as tunes from Boddika and SCB. Get on it! Eames had this to say:
I wanted this mix to sound like the set I would play at 3AM in a dimly lit room two stories underground, or in a warehouse with only a singular sporadic strobe. There’s so much good music (and so many genres) to pull from when trying to compile a mix, but here I went for a more straight-up burner dance approach, house and techno with a classic feel to the percussion.

Rainbow Arabia - Blind (Salva Remix) [Free Download]

Heard this one in Salva's mix for the XLR8R podcast awhile back. Really stoked to see FACT mag releasing it as a free download. Spacey The Knife-esque vocals, future house drum work, and minimal stabs and pads make for a killer track.

Download via FACT magazine.

Greenmoney - Into You ft. Roses Gabor (French Fries Remix) [Free Download]

If you're a fan of the Boiler Room sets, you've probably heard of French Fries. Here's a stripped down four-to-the-floor remix of Greenmoney's 'Into You'. You can bag it for free via RCRD LBL (account required).

Julio Bashmore at Lucky Bar - 17 June 2011

Super stoked for this one! Julio Bashmore tomorrow night at Lucky Bar. This guy's output has been fantastic, just checkout tunes like Battle For Middle You. Only $7 before 11PM - be there!
Via sub|division:

One of dance music’s key figures steps up to Lucky Bar’s stage this Friday: Julio Bashmore, the man behind some of the most epic house tracks of the last couple years. With releases via Dirtybird, Ten thousand Yen & his own FutureBoogie imprint, dude is on fiyah. This jam is only $7 before 11pm, so get in there!
Tickets available online here.

Photek - Rings Around Saturn (Breach Remix)

Not quite sure how I feel about this one as a testament to the original - which is an absolute classic! But as it stands on its own, I'm in to pretty much everything Breach has been putting out. He definitely spins a bit more funk into his take on Rings Around Saturn.

Nguzunguzu - Mirage (Girl Unit Remix)

This one is on constant rotation. Been out for a minute on Silverback Recordings. Quality output from Nguzunguzu and Girl Unit (as usual.)
