Zeitgeist: Addendum

I thought for my 666th post it might be fitting to post a commentary on the current state of the world's socio-econmic hegemony. Now, I watched the first Zeitgeist film and found a few of the claims to be a bit more suited for the 'tin-foil hat'-style conspiracy theorists, but the second film contains a bit more focus, and delves more deeply into the monetary system that controls our world. It does take a turn into some New Age philosophy, and futuristic, pseudo-anarcho utopia theory, so be warned, but the root of the film remains in the systems that control our lives. I thought it may provoke some thought, even if a great majority of the facts are public knowledge. If you have a spare hour or two I'd definitely give it a watch, albeit with a critical mind.
