The other night, in a fit of spontaneity, Amanda and I decided to head to the mainland for the day. We caught the first Pacific Coach Line bus at 5:40am, and were in downtown Vancouver by 10am. The sun was shining, and we walked for hours, from Robson, to Granville, to Gastown, to Stanley Park, and everywhere in between. We didn't spend much, but Amanda found a few choice used CDs, and I came away with some (much-needed) paint and markers from Third skateshop. Oddly enough, I couldn't find a single tune worth buying from Beatstreet Records. For dinner, we dined at the Old Spaghetti Factory in Gastown, then caught the last PCL bus back home. It felt great to get off the Island for once. I've posted a few select shots from the trip, and as always, there's more on my Flickr page. Enjoy.
